By law, public notice of proposed rules must be given by publication in newspapers of record. The purpose of these notices is to give the public a chance to respond to the proposals. Bennington Sarcoidosis Claim Rules.
Vermont Proposed Rule: 07P050
AGENCY: Dept. of Labor
CONCISE SUMMARY: The rules establish claim filing procedures and dispute resolution procedures for persons seeking compensation from the Sarcoidosis benefit trust fund established by the Legislature in Act 53 (2007).
TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: The rule will affect the State of Vermont and a small group of past and present state employees who worked in the Bennington Office Building and subsequently were diagnosed with Sarcoidosis.
COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The rule is not anticipated to have a significant economic impact.
SCHEDULED HEARINGS: Monday, November 19, 2007 at 1:30 - 2:30 PM Vermont Interactive Television in Montpelier and Bennington VT.
DEADLINE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT: November 27, 2007.
