By law, public notice of proposed rules must be given by publication in newspapers of record. The purpose of these notices is to give the public a chance to respond to the proposals. AGENCY: Secretary of State, Office of Professional Regulations
CONCISE SUMMARY: This is a complete revision of the Pharmacy Rules affecting may aspects of pharmacy practice, licensure and prescription of drugs.
TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: All retail and wholesale pharmacies, institutional pharmacies, non-resident pharmacies, all pharmacist and pharmacist technician applicants, all prescribers of drugs.
COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: There should be no economic impact resulting from the changes in these rules.
SCHEDULED HEARINGS: June 24, 2009, 1:00 p.m. Office of Professional Regulation Conference Room, National Life Building, Montpelier, VT.
