Regulated Drugs Rule

Vermont Proposed Rule: 09PE07

AGENCY: Human Services, Department of Health

CONCISE SUMMARY: The effect of this rule will be to change all current references to the "recommended individual therapeutic dosage" to "benchmark unlawful dosage" in the Vermont Department of Health (VDH) Regulated Drugs Rule. This change will allow the language of the rule to remain consistent with that of the statute, which will change all references to recommend individual therapeutic dosage to benchmark unlawful dosage in 18 V.S.A. § 4234 as of July 1, 2009.

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: Persons, agencies and other entities involved in the regulation, oversight, possession, selling and distribution of regulated drugs.

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: There will be no economic impact to this amendment.

SCHEDULED HEARINGS: None
