Emergency Preparedness Workshop for Historical Records

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Bennington Free Library, Bennington, VT

Registration Required (deadline March 28, 2014). The Vermont Historical Records Advisory Board (VHRAB) is partnering with the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) to present a series of workshops and follow-up consultations around the state to help records repositories prepare for emergencies. The curriculum is geared toward staff and volunteers at archives, town offices, historical societies, libraries, and any other institution that maintains historical records. Registration for the workshops can be made through the NEDCC at http://www.nedcc.org/preservation-training/vermont-program. The registration fee is $25.

Registration Required. Meet the staff of the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration (VSARA) and learn more about managing records, our facilities and our services. Open to state records officers/liaisons, municipal clerks, and other interested public employees. To register, contact VSARA at rim@senullc.statnulle.vt.unulls or 802-828-3700.
