| Scope: Artificial collection of the State Archives. Series consists primarily of copies of lotting maps and plans, though there are some originals. The lotting plans divided land among the original proprietors of the town who may have settled on the land or sold it. Other series at the Archives, including the Surveyors-General papers, Chandler's Atlas and the Vermont / New Hampshire boundary case, also contain lotting plans. (The Vermont / New Hampshire boundary case records contain lotting plans along the Vermont / New Hampshire border.) | |
